"We have a base and now we want to create structures that stand out for their aesthetics and create aspiration values." Says Mr. Sanjay Kothari

Mr. Sanjay Kothari

Looking ahead in his journey, Mr. Sanjay Kothari has concrete plans for KGK’s diversification into real estate and is looking forward to present iconic structures with the same finesse and creativity that have been the focus of KGK group’s legacy. He aims to develop structures that are a piece of art while being eco-friendly and sustainable architecture. The venture is envisaged to be niche; elegant and superior just like the jewels KGK group is synonymous with.

Mr. Kothari embarked on his career in 1986, initiating a diamond manufacturing setup in Mumbai; introducing the group to diamond manufacturing and trading. With his transit to Hong Kong in 1990, he was instrumental in enhancing the sales and marketing of diamonds for the group to Far East. His know-how in gems & jewellery played an imperative role in making KGK a DTC sightholder. As a result of his farsightedness and hard work, in 1996 KGK saw an emergence of a new vertical for the group i.e. jewellery manufacturing followed by groups integration in retail with a launch of fine jewellery brand "Entice".

In 25 years of him being at the helm of the group, he has not only accelerated the growth, but has also built a meritocracy for the enhancement of the company. With his fore vision, he envisaged the need for the group to have a more professional approach and therefore initiated for the complete rejuvenation of the group and its brand character by promoting corporate culture. KGK now holds a team of 12,000 plus people gaining prosperity to emerge as a globally renowned group.
